We are biking and running in Prospect Park and Swimming at the International High School in Prospect Heights. Our focus during the fall and winter season is to build confidence in all three disciplines through skills and consistent execution. Our goal is to prepare athletes to practice and race safely and confidently.

PROGRAM DATES:
January 22nd through June 21st

FEES:
$200 Monthly for any and all program sessions (Pro-rated for late starters).

$100 One-time fee at the start of the season

TYPICAL RACE DISTANCES

AGE GROUP

7 - 10 years old: Swim 100m, Bike 5K, Run 1K

11 - 12 years old: Swim 200m, Bike 10K, Run 2K

13- 18 years old: Swim 300m, Bike 10K, Run 2.5K

Youth & junior elite

Youth: Swim 375m, Bike 10K, Run 2.5K

Junior: Swim 750m, Bike 20K, Run 5K

  • Monday Swim

    An extended swim workout to build confidence and endurance in the water. We focus on freestyle and open water foundational skills to set young athletes up for racing success.

    6:30 to 7:30 for 9 to 11 years old, 6:30 to 8:30 11+ years old (dependent on ability)

    International High School at Prospect Heights

  • Wednesday BIKE/RUN

    Bicycle handling skills needed to be safe and proficient riders & racers. We’ll use more protected roads and entrances for skill work and transition into loops of the park. Run technique and training on park roads and trails. Supervised pacing groups will be created as necessary.

    *4-6 PM @ 15th St park entrance at the island, Prospect Park

  • Friday BIKE/RUN

    Bicycle handling skills needed to be safe and proficient riders & racers. We’ll use more protected roads and entrances for skill work and transition into loops of the park. Run technique and training on park roads and trails. Supervised pacing groups will be created as necessary.

  • SATURDAY SWIM/Run

    Freestyle and technique focused workout to lay foundational skills. A more race specific workouts for older and more experienced swimmers. The older group will finish with a short run out of the water.
